2019 Grape Stomp Festival

The 2019 Stomp Festival promises to be THE event of the year at Deep Water Vineyard. We'll have our new sparkling wine as well as our ever-popular strawberry wine "Have a Ball, Lucille" - back while it lasts. Our food and music line-up is poised to be the best of the best too! As always, we'll have our grape stomping and annual Lucille Ball look-a-like contest! Fun for the entire family and the family dog too! Join us for music, food, vendors, jump castles, face-painting... you know, the whole 9. Get your parking tickets now, they are limited and WILL sell out. If you want to be guaranteed a spot, get your $20 parking pass and fill the car with your whole crew. Day of tickets that remain will be $10 per person. You can also sign up for a spot to stomp grapes in one of our 3 adult or 1 kid sessions. You can sign up with a friend or be assigned a partner the day of the event. More to come, stay tuned!

Live Music - Southbound 17 will be headlining, local talent, for a local event!
Vendors - Many lowcountry vendors to choose from!
Drinks - tastings from Deep Water Vineyard and Firefly Distillery as well as mixed drinks, wine-a-ritas, and beer from Low Tide Brewing.
Allowed - Well-behaved dogs, kids, and adults. Lawn chairs, umbrellas, blankets.
Not Allowed - Coolers and outside beverages.
Cost - $20 per car in advance, $10 per PERSON at the gate
Contests - You can sign up for our stomp contest online, we will have 3 adult stomps and 1 kid stomp. Everyone will have a partner, and should bring a great attitude. $10 to stomp with a chance to win big prizes! We also have a Lucy look-a-like contest, again, bring your A-game, this is a fun event!

The highlight of the Grape Stomping Festival is the Lucy Look-A-Like Contest, where "I Love Lucy" Fans will get their chance to don their best Lucy costume and reenact the famous 1956 episode of "I Love Lucy" when Lucy takes a job in a vineyard and stomps grapes. It’s going to be a “grape” time at the Annual Grape Stomping Festival on Saturday, August 24th, from 10:00 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Deep Water Vineyard.  Visitors can stomp local muscadines for the Grape Stomping Contest, compete in the annual Lucy Look-Alike Contest and enjoy a fun-filled day under the oaks at Charleston’s only vineyard and winery. Admission is only $20.00 per car (in advance, via the link below, they are $10 per person at the gate the day of the festival) with a portion of the proceeds benefiting local island charities.

2019 May The Dogs Be With You (Vino-PAW-looza)

We’re pairing up again this year with Lowcountry Dog Magazine to bring you our Vino-PAW-looza event on Saturday, May 18th from 10 a.m. until 5:00 p.m

Again this year we’ll be featuring Lowcountry Dog Magazine’s wildly popular "May the Dogs Be with You" event, with appearances from some of your favorite Star Wars characters.  Dress that dog up as Yoda and come on out.  Our dog-friendly summer kickoff is sure to be a hit with the whole family.

Joining us will be various dog rescue organizations, which we’ll be raising money for through the event.

2019 Cork Shuckin' Festival

Annual Cork Shuckin' festival - with local oysters, music, food trucks, and beer, with tastings and drinks from Deep Water Vineyard and Firefly Distillery all day as well. Something for everyone, even the kiddos and the dog, bring the whole family!

Tastings: offered every 30 minutes throughout the day.  Deep Water Vineyard - $7 which includes a souvenir stemless wine glass.  Firefly Distillery - $6 with a souvenir shot glass. 

Music:  Live music from local talent Trickknee and City Paper's Reggae band of the year - Wellcharged!

Food Trucks: Local Oysters by the bucket, Braised in the South, Coastal Crust, Dave 'N' Dubs, The Immortal Lobster, and Rebel Taqueria.

Drinks: We will be serving Bloody Mary’s using our new jalapeno wine, Firefly cocktails, wine-a-ritas and mulled wine, as well as beer from Low Tide Brewing... and we might be revealing a new wine as well!

Fun: Swings, swurfer, many vineyard animals, and a jump-castle with hot cocoa or slushies (depending on weather).  Local vendors will be selling unique gifts and showcasing their talents as well.  

Pre-sale tickets are gone, but there are tickets available at the gate - $10 PER CARLOAD!!!!

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, but no coolers please!

2018 Boots, Bottles, and a Blessing Festival

Join us November 3rd for our Blessing of the Vines Festival, we call it Boots, Bottles, and a Blessing. It’s a blessing for all wine lovers at Charleston’s only vineyard and winery. The public will get their chance to witness the blessing of muscadine grapevines by a priest, enjoy live music, food and drink all while admiring the charming setting of Deep Water Vineyard. The event is open to the public.  

Join us for a full day of fun for the entire family (including Fido) at Deep Water Vineyard and Firefly Distillery as we celebrate the end of harvest with our Boots, Bottles, and Blessings festival.  Live music will include Nashville recording artist, American Idol contestant, and friend of the vineyard, "Carly Moffa" as well as locally known and loved "Trickknee".  You'll have a chance to grab lunch from some the area's best food trucks including:  Mac Daddy, Greekin' Out, Braised in the South, Dave 'n' Dubs, and Holy City Cupcakes.

Kids will enjoy seeing the animals, swinging and swurfing, slushies, and a jump castle. Local vendors will be selling unique gifts and showcasing their talents as well.  Get your tickets now, they are limited and it's worth it to get them early at just $5 per car.

Live Music - Carly Moffa all the way from Nashville and Trickknee, a local fave!
