Join us for a new twist on our Vino-PAW-looza event on Saturday, May 5th from 10 a.m. until 5:00 p.m

This year we'll be partnering with Lowcountry Dog Magazine to bring you a "May the Dogs Be with You" event, with appearances from some of your favorite Star Wars characters.  Dress that dog up as Yoda and come on out.  Our dog-friendly summer kickoff is sure to be a hit with the whole family.

Cork Shuckin' Festival

Annual Cork Shuckin' festival - with local oysters, music, food trucks, and beer, with tastings and drinks from Deep Water Vineyard and Firefly Distillery all day as well. Something for everyone, even the kiddos and the dog, bring the whole family!

Tastings: offered every 30 minutes throughout the day.  Deep Water Vineyard - $7 which includes a souvenir stemless wine glass.  Firefly Distillery - $6 with a souvenir shot glass. 

Music:  Live music from local talent McKenna Andrews and the Lauren Hall Band!

Food Trucks: Chucktown Mobile Seafood,  Coastal Crust,  Dave N’ Dubs,  El Pincho, Grill Force 1, and Sweet Lulu’s Bakery.

Charity: Windwood Farms Home for Children will be serving Bloody Mary’s to support their fantastic charity, and a portion of the parking fees will go to support our local elementary school – Edith L. Frierson.

Fun: Swings, swurfer, many vineyard animals, and a jump-castle with hot cocoa or slushies (depending on weather).  Local vendors will be selling unique gifts and showcasing their talents as well.

Boots, Bottles, and a Blessing Festival

Join us November 11th for our Blessing of the Vines Festival, we call it Boots, Bottles, and a Blessing. It’s a blessing for all wine lovers at Charleston’s only vineyards and winery. The public will get their chance to witness the blessing of muscadine grapevines by a priest, enjoy live music, food and drink all while admiring the charming setting of Deep Water Vineyard. The event is open to the public.

Grape Stomping Festival

The lineup for the day is as follows, get your tickets before midnight Friday the 25th to get the advanced ticket rate of $10!

10:00 - Gates Open
11:00 - 11:30 - Kids' Stomp
11:30 - 1:00 - Opening Music Act
1:00 - 1st Adult Stomp and Second Music Act kicks off it's first set
2:15 - 2nd Adult Stomp
3:30 - Lucy Look Alike Contest
4:45 - Winners Announced

Please remember to get your tickets ($10 in advance or $20 at the gate), a portion of the proceeds goes to local charities!

The public is invited to join in the yearly harvest and stomping of the grapes at Charleston's only winery.  Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to picnic on the expansive lawn, but no coolers please. The highlight of the Grape Stomping Festival is the Lucy Look-A-Like Contest, where "I Love Lucy" Fans will get their chance to don their best Lucy costume and reenact the famous 1956 episode of "I Love Lucy" when Lucy takes a job in a vineyard and stomps grapes. It’s going to be a “grape” time at the Annual Grape Stomping Festival on Saturday, August 26, from 10:00 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Deep Water Vineyard.  Visitors can stomp local muscadines for the Grape Stomping Contest, compete in the annual Lucy Look-Alike Contest and enjoy a fun-filled day under the oaks at Charleston’s only vineyard and winery. Admission is only $10.00 per car (in advance, via the link below, they are $20 at the gate the day of the festival) with a portion of the proceeds benefiting local island charities.
